Storm Ledger republishes National Weather Service Local Storm Reports for Ohio as they stand when read from the Iowa Environmental Mesonet's public archive. Storm Ledger is an independent site. It is not run by, or affiliated with, the National Weather Service, NOAA, the Iowa Environmental Mesonet, any Ohio county or any news organization.

Not a warning service. Reports appear after the fact and can be minutes to days late. For warnings use weather.gov, NOAA Weather Radio and your local alerts. In an emergency call 911.

Not an official record. Storm reports are preliminary and unverified. Date-of-loss sheets summarise them; they are not certified weather records and are not insurance, legal or engineering advice. NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information publishes the checked Storm Events Database and certified records.

Plans. Ledger Pass $1.95 a month or $19.50 a year, renewing until cancelled; Sheet Pass $1.00 for 24 hours, no renewal. Cancelling stops the next renewal and the Pass runs to the end of the paid period. During the preview there is no checkout, every feature is free and nothing is charged.

Use. Use the site, sheets and feeds for your own reading and work. Do not overload it with automated requests; lookups and forms are rate-limited.
