What the report says
Delayed report, from a variety of sources including EMA, Defiance PD, Broadcast media, trained spotters, tand the public. Numerous reports of large trees downed, uprooted, or snapped (various degrees of health) from a variety of sources around Defiance. Damage to buildings-especially shingles blown off. There were a few locations in town with more significant roof damage, like St Marys Church. Riverside cemetery also had an abundance of tree damage. Powerlines were also reported downed or leaning. Some locations like the KFC and a church called the Gathering Place on Clinton st had sign damage. There was siding blown off several buildings and a tipped over construction trailer that fell on a vehicle. There was a report on Jericho Rd between Defiance and Hicksville of a barn that was destroyed-but exact location is unknown. Time was estimated by radar.
